Swoose Goose

This looks like the plane built as the XP-54, AKA informally as the "Swoose Goose". Wartime secrecy may have had something to do with the patent date, because it was developed for a competition that occurred when we were still just playing the Arsenal for Democracy role prior to entering the war.
