Let your imagination ride aboard a brand new concept in transportation. A design for a toy monorail. 1953. Invented by Lester Cohen and Willard H. Reineking.
this toy was made by "Toys of Tommorrow".
It is of high value if working, complete. Parts and pieces demand top money as well. A complete mint in box set may bring upwards of 3 thousand dollars, yes...three thousand! It is a TV tie in from the early days of TV when the sets were cardboard and so was the dialog! To have such a nice complicated toy made back then from a science fiction show that wasn't on all that long is one reason for the amazing value. (I apologize for the very late reply, i lost this site, and apparently, my memory!) uggybugger@verizon.net
I am an avid monorail toy collector, and what you have here is the plans for the coveted 'space patrol' monorail. Yes, it was made, it was red, and is very very rare. (you ever want to sell it...) :) uggybugger@verizon.net
