William Schnell had another design for a radiator ornament that was used on the 1931 Pierce-Arrow and of course this patent design. This design was assigned to Ternstedt Manufacturing Company, which made auto body hardware and was acquired by General Motors in 1926. 1926. Invented by William Schnell.
