This winged, stuffed bear seems a little anxious that someone might see him dressed up in that silly hat and bells. 1950. Invented by Lewis E. Schwarz, Jr.
That's no bear. That's a character by the name of Mr. Bingle. Any native of New Orleans would probably testify to having a Mr. Bingle plush toy or at least seeing the giant Mr. Bingle hanging from Maison Blanche department store during Christmas season.
